1. Products

We sell tea, coffee, tea blends, incense, felt goods, handicrafts, gifts, and accessories, sourced from Nepal and the Himalayan region. Product descriptions, images, weights, and origin details are provided in good faith and to the best of our knowledge, but minor variations (such as color, texture, or exact weight of handmade items) may occur due to the natural and handcrafted nature of our products.

We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, or correct pricing or descriptive errors at any time without prior notice.

2. Orders and Acceptance

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order for reasons including but not limited to: product unavailability, suspected fraud, pricing errors, or shipping restrictions to your location. Your order is confirmed only once you receive an order confirmation email from us.

3. Pricing and Payment

• All prices are listed in the currency shown at checkout and are subject to change without notice, though changes will not affect orders already confirmed.
• Prices do not include applicable customs duties, import taxes, or fees that may be charged by your country upon delivery. These are the responsibility of the customer.
• Orders are currently completed via bank/wire transfer (TT) arranged directly with our team; payment instructions are provided after checkout. We are working on adding online payment through eSewa and Khalti — once enabled, payment will be processed securely through those providers and we will not store your full card or wallet details on our servers.
• Free shipping applies to orders over $100 USD (or the equivalent in your checkout currency), as indicated on the Site at checkout.

4. Shipping and Delivery

• We ship worldwide from Kathmandu, Nepal.
• Estimated delivery times shown at checkout are estimates only and are not guaranteed, as international shipping can be affected by customs processing, weather, and courier delays outside our control.
• Risk of loss and title for products purchased pass to you upon our delivery to the shipping carrier.
• You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. We are not responsible for orders delayed or lost due to incorrect address information provided at checkout.
• International customers are responsible for any customs duties, VAT, GST, or import taxes assessed by their country. These are not included in our product prices or shipping fees.

6. Product Use and Disclaimers

• Our teas, blends, and herbal products are intended for general enjoyment and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
• If you are pregnant, nursing, have a medical condition, or are taking medication, please consult a healthcare professional before consuming herbal teas or blends.
• Allergen information is provided where known, but our products are processed in facilities that may also handle other ingredients; if you have specific allergies or sensitivities, please contact us before ordering.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including product photography, descriptions, logos, and the Lumbini Tea House name and branding, is owned by or licensed to Lumbini Tea House and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumbini Tea House shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or purchase of our products, including delays in shipping, customs holds, or issues arising from misuse of products. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order shall not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.

9. Fraud Prevention and Order Refusal

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order we suspect is fraudulent, involves a fraudulent payment method, or violates these Terms. In such cases, we will notify you and issue a refund if payment was already collected.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your order shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at lumbiniteahouse@gmail.com. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kathmandu, Nepal, unless applicable local law requires otherwise.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
